Soft and Sweet Crochet Choker

For this project I used Paintbox DK yarn in Candy Floss Pink and a size D (US) crochet hook.
US Terminology is used in below.

Round 1  -  Chain 89, turn
Round 2  -  Double Crochet in 4th chain from hook (counts as 1 DC), DC in next  86 chains
Round 3  -  Chain 1 and SC in first 6 DC, Chain 1, skip one space and DC, Chain 1 and skip one space *(DC, chain 1 in every other DC ) until last DC then chain 5, (you should have 40 chain 1 spaces);  Join 5 chains into Last DC of Round 2 then turn work and SC 5 in chain 5 space.
Round 4  - SC in first chain 1 space then repeat to end of row: *  [HDC, DC, TC, TC) then in next chain 1 space (TC, TC, DC, HDC), then in next chain 1 space (SC)], 6 SC then fasten off leaving enough yarn to sew in large button on  left side (side without the loop, be sure to center).   Finish piece is approximately 18" in circumference.

Instructions above updated 5/26/17 as it was clear I did not drink enough coffee before publishing.   Please  feel free to email me at calicokittycrochet@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Welcome!

Hello my name is Tamara and I  absolutely love everything crochet. The majority of my projects go to local charity or to friends.   My favorite thing of all to crochet is flowers.

I've created this space to share some of the projects I am working on as well as some of my own designs.
